Stephanie C. Kelly

City of Charlotte Deputy City Clerk

Stephanie joined the City of Charlotte in 2004 after 20 years in local government in Shelby, North Carolina, and became City Clerk in December 2008. She received her North Carolina Certified Municipal Clerk designation in 2012 and has served as president of both NCAMC (2014-2015) and IIMC (2018-2019). She holds a bachelor's degree in communications from UNC-Greensboro, an MBA from Gardner-Webb University, and has completed municipal administration coursework at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Government. She is active in her church and community.

Mahesh Kulkarni

Mecklenburg County IT Analyst

Mahesh is currently employed at Mecklenburg County, where he identifies problems and implements IT solutions. He holds master's and bachelor's degrees from Mississippi State University. His previous roles include Application Manager at Bank of America and Wells Fargo, Audit Manager at AIG and Premier Inc., and Business Analyst positions, giving him expertise in quality assurance, software project management, and business analysis.
