What It Means To Start a Chapter

Are you passionate about civic engagement and eager to make a difference in your community?

By starting a local chapter, you’ll help us bring civic education to younger students while developing your leadership skills and making a real impact.

As a chapter leader, you’ll receive:

Before You Apply

Requirements To Start a Chapter

We’re looking for responsible and motivated students who are ready to take initiative. To apply, you must:

  • Be at least 14 years old
  • Have a strong interest in civics, education, or leadership
  • Complete our civics training modules and become familiar with our curriculum
  • Be committed to hosting at least one activity or event each month
  • Be willing to teach or mentor younger students (ages 8–13)
  • Communicate regularly with our central team
  • Submit a short monthly report on your chapter's activities

Chapters can be started at schools, libraries, community centers, or virtually. Whether you’re starting with a few friends or launching something bigger, we’re excited to support your journey.
